Franz Detleff Goebel and his son William founded the F & W Goebel Company in 1871, located in Rodental, Germany.

Lovely limited edition plaque, "Smiling Through", created for the Goebel Collectors' Club Member in 1978. The colorful plaque measures 5 3/4" across. Marked on the back "Exclusive Special Edition No.2 - Hum690 - For Members Of The Goebel Collectors Club", TMK5 mark - 1978. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
