Chokin is the Japanese art of inlaying of precious metals to create a picture. This plate is inlaid with Gold, Silver and Copper to create a picture of a home,mountains and the ocean. No cracks or chips. Plate measeures 8 1/4" A little worn but still quite beautiful.
